Eggless Wheat Carrot Cake with Jaggery Ingredients
Jaggery Powder-1 cup
Sunflower Oil-3/4 cup
Curd/Yogurt-1/2 cup
Wheat Flour-2 cup
Baking Powder-1 tsp
Baking Soda-1/2 tsp
Salt-a pinch
Cinnamon Powder-1/2 tsp
Grated Carrot-1 cup
Milk-1/2 cup
How To Make Eggless Wheat Carrot Cake with Jaggery
- Firstly, in a bowl add jaggery powder, sunflower oil and curd/yogurt. Then whisk well until jaggery dissolves completely.
- Once jaggery dissolved completely, place a sieve over the bowl and add wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, a pinch of salt and cinnamon powder in it. Then mix it well and sift it.
- Gently mix it with a spatula (Cut & Fold method).
- Further add milk in it and mix it. (Cut & Fold method)
- Then add grated carrot in it.
- Mix gently until well combined.
- Cake batter is now ready.
- Further grease a cake pan with oil. Then place a butter paper inside the pan.
- Pour the cake batter in it and level it with a spatula.
- Then decorate the top with cashew nuts and raisins. Tap the tin for removing air bubbles.
- Finally preheat oven and bake it at 180 C (350 F) for 40 to 45 minutes.
- After 40 minutes insert a tooth pick in the middle of the cake. If it came out clean then the cake will be ready. if not bake it agin until done.
- Once the cake is ready, transfer it into a plate and allow it to cool down completely.
- Once it’s cooled down completely, cut it and serve it.
