Paneer Masala Recipe | Easy Paneer Curry Recipe with Video Recipe. Paneer is a type of fresh cheese, which is made by curdling milk with common household acid such as lemon juice, vinegar or yogurt. It is a versatile ingredient in many Indian cuisine. It can be made at home and it’s also readily available at most grocery stores. Paneer can be cut into cubes and cooked on a skillet or in the oven with different spices and veggies for a delicious meal. Today I am sharing here with you the recipe of an easy and delicious paneer curry. It’s preparation is very simple. Firstly, paneer cubes are fried and then it is cooked in an onion tomato masala. for instance, yoghurt or curd is used in this curry to get thickness, creaminess and tanginess. Ingredients

Paneer Cubes-200 gm

Ginger Garlic paste-1 1/2 tsp

Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp

Red Chilli Powder-1 1/2 tsp

Salt

Cumin Seeds-1 tsp

Cinnamon-1 inch

Cardamom-2 pods

Cloves-3

Onion-2 (finely chopped)

Coriander Powder-1 tsp

Garam Masala-1/2 tsp

Curd-1/2 cup

Water-1/2 cup

Coriander Leaves

Oil-4 tbs

Ghee-2 tbs

How to Make Paneer Masala
  • Firstly, In a bowl take paneer cubes. Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt to taste into it.
  • Mix it well. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  • In a mixer, take two chopped tomatoes. Grind it into a tomato puree. Keep it aside
  • Heat 2tbs oil in a pan. Fry the paneer cubes until both sides turns golden brown in color. Keep it aside
  • Heat 2tbs ghee and 2tbs oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves in it.
  • Saute it until it turns aromatic.
  • Add finely chopped onion and salt in it.
  • Saute it until onion turns golden brown in color.
  • Add ginger garlic paste in it. Saute it well.
  • Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and garam masala in it.
  • Saute it until raw smell of powders goes off.
  • Add tomato puree in it.
  • Saute it for 1 minute.
  • Add curd in it and mix it well.
  • Add water and salt to taste in it.
  • Mix it well.
  • Close it with a lid & cook it for 1 minute.
  • Further add fried paneer cubes and mix well then close it with a lid and cook for a minute
  • Finally, add coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Paneer Masala is now ready to serve
