Chicken Leg Piece Curry Recipe | Chicken Drumsticks Curry Recipe with Video Recipe. Today I am sharing here with you an easy chicken curry recipe which is made with chicken drumsticks/chicken legs. This Chicken Leg Piece/Chicken Drumsticks Curry has a special flavor because we are using chicken leg pieces for making this curry. This chicken curry is very easy to make and it requires very few ingredients for making this curry. Preparation of this curry is very simple. Firstly, you need to fry the chicken leg pieces. Secondly, you need to cook the fried chicken leg pieces with onion tomato masala and some spices. While the chicken leg pieces are cooking in onion tomato masala, the juice from the chicken leg pieces mix with the onion tomato masala and makes this curry more flavorful. Ingredients

Chicken Leg Pieces-6

Red chilli Powder-1 tbs

Turmeric Powder-1/2 tbs

Ginger garlic paste-1/2 tsp

Curd-2 tbs

Salt to taste

Butter-1 tbs

Oil

Onion-2 (Chopped)

Tomatoes-2

Green chilies-1

Curry leaves

Coriander Powder-1 tbs

Turmeric Powder-1/4 tbs

Red chilli Powder-1/2 tbs

Garam Masala-1 tsp

Water-2 cup or as required

Coriander Leaves

How to Make Chicken Leg Piece / Chicken Drumsticks Curry
  • Take chicken leg pieces. Make deep cuts on chicken leg pieces.
  • Take a bowl add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, curd, salt to taste in it. Add chicken leg pieces in it. Mix everything well with your hand. Keep it aside for 1 hour.
  • In a pan add butter and oil. Heat it. Add the marinated chicken leg pieces in it. Fry the chicken leg pieces until both sides turns golden brown in color and keep it aside
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, green chilies and curry leaves and salt in it. Sauté it until onion turns golden brown in color. Add chopped tomatoes in it. Mix it.
  • Close it with a lid & Let the tomatoes cook well.
  • Once tomatoes are cooked well, add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala in it.
  • Saute it until raw smell of powders goes off.
  • Add fried chicken leg pieces in it. Add salt to taste in it. Mix it well.
  • Add water in it and mix it.
  • Cover it & Cook it in medium flame for 5 mins.
  • Finally add coriander leaves in it and mix it.
  • Chicken Leg/drumstick curry is now ready to serve.
