Chicken Kebab Recipe | Chicken Kebab Without Oven with Video Recipe. Chicken kebab is one of the popular appetizer in middle eastern and Indian cuisines. It is one of the common Iftar dish prepared during the holy month of ramadan. Most of the chicken kebab recipes are grilled on skewers in oven, but in this recipe I am not using skewers and not grilling chicken, This recipe is very easy to prepare. You can make these kebabs even when you don’t have skewers and oven with you. In this recipe instead of grilling the chicken pieces, I just deep fried the chicken pieces. These deep fried chicken kebabs are more crispy and more delicious than the grilled chicken kebabs. Just follow the steps I mentioned below in this post, then you can understand how easy is to prepare these chicken kebabs. Ingredients
Chicken-1/2 kg
Green chillies-3
Ginger- small piece
Garlic cloves-4
Coriander leaves
Mint leaves
Lemon-1/2
Salt-1 tbs
Rice flour-3 tbs
Maida/All purpose flour-3 tbs
Corn flour-2 tbs
Chilli powder-2 tbs
Egg-2
Oil for deep frying
Method Of Preparation
- In a blender add greenchillies, small piece of ginger, garlic cloves, coriander leaves, mint leaves, lemon juice and salt and grind it to a fine paste
- Take rice flour, maida/all purpose flour, cornflour and chilli powder in a bowl and mix everything well
- Add the grounded masala paste and egg into it and mix it well
- Add chicken pieces into it and coat it well with the prepared masala and rest it for 1 hour
- After 1 hour, deep fry it in hot oil in medium flame for 5-7 minutes or until it turns crisp in outside
- Chicken kebab is now ready to serve
