Bread Banana Pancakes are a delightful fusion of two beloved breakfast staples: bread and pancakes, with a delightful twist of banana flavor. These pancakes are not only delicious but also versatile, making them an excellent option for a hearty breakfast or a sweet brunch treat.
To create these pancakes, you start with pancake batter made with bread slices. No need to use flour for making this pancake batter. In this recipe for a variety i have added banana pieces on top of the pancake batter, instead of adding mashed banana into batter to add natural sweetness. The bananas not only enhance the flavor but also make it look attractive that sets these pancakes apart from the traditional ones.
To prepare bread banana pancakes, you can use leftover bread. In a blender add bread pieces and powder it then add egg, grated coconut, cardamom powder, pinch of salt, sugar and milk. Blend it into a fine and thick pancake batter.
Cook the pancakes on a hot, greased griddle or frying pan. Add banana pieces and sugar on top of the batter before it’s getting cooked for enhancing it’s flavor.When the bananas are cooked right along with the batter, it will caramelize with the heat of the pan, that gives a nice caramelized banana flavor for the pancake.

Grated Coconut-1/4 Cup
Cardamom Powder-1/2 tsp
Sugar-4 tbs
Pinch of Salt
Milk-1/2 Cup

How To Make Bread Banana Pancake
- Firstly, cut bread slices into small pieces and add it into a blender and powder it.
- Then add egg, grated coconut, cardamom powder, sugar, pinch of salt and milk into the blender.
- Blend it into a fine and thick pancake batter.
- Further heat 2tbs ghee in a pan. Pour a ladleful of batter on pan (Don’t Spread it).
- Then add banana pieces and 1tsp sugar on top.
- Close it with a lid and cook both sides for 2 minutes on medium flame.
- Bread Banana Pancake is now ready to serve.
