Ragi Cake With Jaggery Recipe | Eggless & Sugar Free Ragi Cake with Video Recipe. Simple and healthy cake recipe made without sugar, egg and all purpose flour. This cake  is made with ragi flour and jaggery.

Ragi Cake With Jaggery Recipe | Eggless & Sugar Free Ragi Cake  Ingredients

Ragi Flour-2 Cup

Baking Powder-1 tsp

Baking Soda-1/2 tsp

Salt-a pinch

Jaggery-1 Cup

Curd/Yogurt-1/2 Cup

Oil-1/2 Cup

Vanilla Essence-1 tsp

Milk-1/4 Cup

Cashew nuts

How To Make Ragi Cake With Jaggery

  • Firstly, in a mixer add jaggery, curd/yogurt, oil and vanilla essence. Then beat it until jaggery melts completely and the mixture is well combined.
  • Then transfer the mixture into a bowl.
  • Further place a sieve over it. Then add ragi flour, baking powder, baking soda and a pinch of salt in it. Mix it well and sift it. 
  • Then gently mix it using cut and fold method. 
  • Add 1/4 cup milk in it and mix it gently until every things are well combined. Ragi cake batter is now ready.
  • Grease a cake pan with oil & line it with butter paper. Then pour the cake batter into the cake pan and decorate the top with cashew nuts. Tap it for removing air bubbles.
  • Preheat oven at 180 C for 10 minutes. Place the cake pan inside the oven. 
  • Finally bake it at 180 C for 25 to 30 minutes. 
  • Insert a tooth pick in the middle. if it came out clean then cake will be ready, if not bake it until done.
  • Once the cake is ready, take out the cake pan from the oven and take out the cake from the cake pan.
  • Allow it to cool down completely, Cut it and serve it.
