Bread Masala Recipe | Easy Bread Snack Recipe with Video Recipe. Bread Masala recipe is an easy and quick snack made with left over bread slices and onion tomato masala. It is very easy to prepare with very few ingredients that are always available in your kitchen. It’s preparation is very simple, Firstly you need to toast the bread slices, then cut it into small pieces. Further make a onion tomato masala. Finally add the toasted bread pieces into the onion tomato masala and gently mix it until the bread pieces are coated well with the onion tomato masala. 

Bread Masala Ingredients

Ghee-3 tbs

Bread Slices-6

Cumin Seeds-1 tsp

Ginger-1 tbs (Chopped)

Green Chilies-2

Onion-1 (Finley Chopped)

Salt to taste

Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp

Coriander Powder-1/2 tsp

Chilli Powder-1/2 tsp

Sambar Powder-1 tsp

Tomato-1

Capsicum-1

Yogurt-1 tbs

Garam Masala-1/4 tsp

Water-2 Cup

Coriander Leaves

Lemon Juice-1/2 of a Lemon

How To Make Bread Masala

  • Firstly, heat ghee in a pan. Add bread slices in it and toast well until both sides turns golden brown in color.
  • Then cut it into small slices.
  • Further heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds in it. Let it splutter.
  • Then add chopped ginger and green chilies in it. Saute it until it turns golden brown in color.
  • Next add onion and salt in it. Saute it until it turns golden brown in color.
  • Further add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder and sambar powder in it. Saute it until raw smell of powders goes off.
  • Then add tomato and capsicum and salt to taste in it. Mix it well and saute it for 2 minutes.
  • Next add yogurt and garam masala in it and mix it. 
  • Further add 2 cup water in it. Close it with a lid and let it boil.
  • Once it started to boil open the lid and cook it until the gravy thickened.
  • Then add fried bread pieces in it and gently mix it until the bread pieces are coated well with the masala.
  • Finally add coriander leaves and lemon juice in it and mix it.
  • Bread masala is now ready to serve
