Arbi Masala Recipe | Arbi Stir Fry Recipe with Video Recipe. Arbi Masala | Arbi Stir fry is a simple and delicious side dish which is popular in India. Preparation of this stir fry is very easy just you need to cook boiled arbi with indian spices. Ingredients


Arbi-500gm

Oil-4tbs

Mustard Seeds-1 tsp

Cumin Seeds-1 tsp

Hing- a pinch

Ginger-1/2 inch (chopped)

Green chilies-2 (chopped)

Small onions-10-15(chopped)

Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

Coriander powder-1.5 tsp

Redchilli powder-1 tsp

Salt to taste

Garam masala-1 tsp

Curry leaves

How To Make Arbi Masala

  • Firstly, add enough water in a pressure cooker. Add arbi in it.
  • Then Pressure cook it for 1 whistle.
  • Take out the arbi from pressure cooker & cool them.
  • Once it’s cooled down completely, peel it.
  • Cut it into medium size pieces.
  • Secondly, Heat 4tbs oil in a pan. Splutter 1 tsp mustard seeds & 1 tsp cumin seeds.
  • Add hing, ginger and green chilies in it.
  • Saute it until it turns golden brown in color.
  • Thirdly, Add small onions in it and sauté it until onion turns golden brown in color.
  • Next add turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder in it and sauté it until raw smell of powders goes off.
  • Add arbi and salt to taste in it and mix it well.
  • Close it with a lid & cook it for 2-3 minutes in low flame.
  • Finally add garam masala and curry leaves in it and mix well. Cook it for 1 minute.
  • Arbi Masala is now ready to serve.
