Raw Banana Fry Recipe | Vazhakkai Fry Recipe with Video Recipe. Raw plantain is a good source of vitamins and minerals, so including raw plantain in your diet is good for your health. You can prepare variety of dishes with raw plantain/raw banana. Today I am posting here the recipe of an easy and delicious side dish made with raw banana/raw plantain that you can have it with rice. It is a spicy side dish made with raw plantain/raw banana and some spices. It is very easy to prepare within few minutes. Ingredients

Raw Banana/Raw Plantain-1

Fennel Seeds-1 tsp

Cumin Seeds-1/2 tsp

Pepper-1/4 tsp

Garlic Cloves-6

Curry Leaves

Method Of Preparation

  • Peel the skin of banana & Slice it.
  • In a mixer add fennel seeds, cumin seeds, pepper, garlic cloves and curry leaves.
  • Grind it to a coarse powder and keep it aside.
  • Deep fry the banana pieces until it turns light brown in color & Keep it aside.
  • Heat 2tbs oil in a pan.
  • Add the grounded powder in it.
  • Sauté it for few seconds
  • Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and redchilli powder in it.
  • Sauté it until raw smell of powders goes off.
  • Add the fried banana pieces in it.
  • Add salt to taste in it and mix it well.
  • Cook it in low flame for 5 minutes.
  • Add curry leaves in it and mix it well.
