Last week we bought one cake for our wedding anniversary. Few pieces were left after we had it. I kept that in fridge. Few days later while checking my fridge I saw that leftover cake pieces. We didn’t feel like to eat it anymore, so an idea came in my mind to turn this leftover cake pieces into any dessert. My search for the dessert with leftover cake pieces ended up in this recipe. Ingredients

Leftover Cake Pieces

Sugar-1/4 cup

Water-3 tbs

Milk-1 cup

Butter-2 tbs

Eggs-2

Vanilla Essence-1 tsp

Brown Sugar-1/2 cup

How To Make Leftover Cake Pudding

  • Firstly, add leftover cake pieces into a mixer and grind it into a fine batter. Transfer it into a bowl and keep it aside.
  • Secondly, in a pan add 1/4 cup sugar and water.
  • Then heat it and let the sugar melt completely and turn into golden brown in color. Caramel syrup is now ready.
  • Transfer the caramel syrup into a bowl and spread it.
  • Keep it aside and let it set completely.
  • In a pan add milk. Then add butter into it. Heat it until the butter melt completely.
  • Next add two eggs into a bowl. Add vanilla essence in it and beat it well.
  • Then add brown sugar in it. Beat it until sugar dissolves completely.
  • Add milk in it and mix well.
  • Add this mixture into the grounded cake batter and mix it well.
  • Pudding batter is now ready.
  • Pour the pudding batter into a pan on top of the cooled caramel syrup.
  • Next add the leftover cake crumbs on top.
  • Finally, Pour water in a kadai. Place a rack in it. Place the pudding pan on top of the rack.
  • Close it with a lid and cook it on medium flame for 30 minutes.
  • Cake Pudding is now ready. Allow it to cool down completely.
  • After 2hrs, take out the pudding from the pan.
  • Cut it and Serve it.
