Avocado has a natural creamy texture, it makes this dessert thick, creamy and delicious. Ingredients
Avocado-1
Jaggery-1/2 cup
Water-1/2 cup
Ghee-2 tbs
Rava/Sooji- 1/2 cup
Milk-3 cup
Cashew nuts-6 (Chopped)
Raisins-6
Method Of Preparation
- Cut the avocado in half.
- Remove the seed.
- Scoop out the avocado flesh with a spoon.
- Transfer the avocado flesh into a mixer.
- Grind it into a smooth paste.
- Add jaggery in a heavy bottomed pan. Add water in it.
- Heat it and let the jaggery dissolve completely
- Strain it & Keep it aside.
- Heat 1tbs ghee in a pan.
- Add rava/sooji in it.
- Roast the rava
- Add milk in it.
- Stir it continuously.
- Let the milk boil and rava cook well.
- Once rava cooked well, add avocado paste in it.
- Mix it well & Let it cook for 5 mins in low flame.
- Add jaggery syrup in it and mix well. (Keep the flame in low).
- Cook it for 1 minute.
- Switch off the flame.
- Avocado kheer is now ready.
- Heat 1tbs ghee in a pan.
- Add cashewnuts in it.
- Saute it until cashewnuts turns light golden brown in color.
- Add raisins in it.
- Saute it until raisins puff up.
- Add this to the avocado kheer.
- Mix it.
- Avocado Kheer is now ready to serve.
