Rice Ladoo With Jaggery Ingredients
Raw Rice-3/4 Cup
Jaggery-1 Cup
Water-1 Cup
Milk-1 Cup
Cardamom Powder-1 tsp
Ghee-2 tbs
How To Make Rice Ladoo With Jaggery
- Firstly, roast the raw rice until it turns light golden brown in color.
- Once raw rice turned golden brown in color, allow it to cool down completely.
- Then transfer it into a mixer and grind it to a coarse powder.
- Further add 1 Cup jaggery in a heavy bottomed pan, add 1 cup water in it.
- Heat it and let the jaggery dissolve completely.
- Once jaggery dissolved completely, strain it and keep it aside.
- Next heat 1 cup milk in a kadai and let it boil.
- Once milk started to boil, add the grounded rice powder in it.
- Stir well until the milk is absorbed well by the rice powder.
- Further add the jaggery syrup in it and mix it well.
- Mash the mixture to remove the lumps.
- Then add cardamom powder in it and mix well.
- Finally add 2tbs ghee in it and mix well.
- Further cook until the mixture starts to separate from the pan.
- Grease oil in hand and take a small portion of mixture in your hand and shape the ladoos (when it’s still warm.)
- Delicious rice ladoos are now ready to serve.
