Ingredients
Sabudana -1 cup
Jaggery-200 gm
Water-1 cup
Milk-4 cup
Cardamom Powder-1/2 tsp
Ghee-2 tbs
Cashewnuts-6
Raisins-10
How to make Sabudanakheer
- Soak Sabudana in water for 5 hours or overnight. Drain the water and keep it aside.
- Take a heavy bottomed pan and add jaggery in it. Add water in it. Heat it and let the jaggery dissolve completely. Switch off the flame. Keep it aside.
- Take a Kadai. Add milk in it. Let it boil.
- Add the soaked sabudana in it.
- Stir it & Cook until sabudana turns transparent.
- Add cardamom powder in it. Mix it well & Cook until sabudana kheer thickens.
- Switch off the flame & Let the kheer come to a room temperature.
- Add the strained jaggery syrup in it.
- Mix it well until the jaggery syrup is combined well with the kheer. Keep it aside.
- Heat ghee in a pan.
- Add cashewnuts in it. Fry it until cashewnuts turns golden brown in color. Take it out.
- Add raisins in it. Fry raisins until they puffs up.
- Add it into the sabudana kheer. Add the fried cashewnuts. Mix well.
- Sabudana Kheer is now ready to Serve
