Sweet Corn Cob-1

Milk-2 1/2 cup

Powdered Jaggery-1/2 cup

Cardamom Powder-1/4 tsp

Ghee-2tbs

Cashew nuts-8 (Chopped)

Raisins-10

How To Make Corn Payasam | Corn Kheer
  • Take one sweet corn cob. Remove the corn kernels from cob. 
  • Take 1 cup of corn kernels. Add the corn kernels into a mixer.
  • Then Grind it into a fine paste.
  • Heat ghee in a pan and add cashewnuts in it.
  • Saute it until it turns golden brown in color. 
  • Take it out and then add raisins in it.
  • Saute it until raisins puffs up. Take it out.
  • Add the corn paste in ghee.
  • Further add 1/4 cup corn kernels in it.
  • Saute it for 3 minutes.
  • Then add milk in it.
  • Mix it well and let it boil for 10 minutes.
  • Switch off the flame and allow it to come to room temperature.
  • Add powdered jaggery in it and mix it well.
  • Then add cardamom powder in it and mix well.
  • Finally, add fried cashewunts and raisins in it and mix it.
  • Corn Payasam/Kheer is now ready to Serve.
