Ingredients

Sweet Corn-1

Rava/Sooji/Semolina-1 cup

Besan Flour-2 tbs

Carrot-1 (Grated)

Onion-1 small, finely chopped

Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp

Redchilli Powder-1/2 tsp

Salt-1/2 tsp

Wate as required

Oil- 3tbs

Baking Soda-1/2 tsp

Method Of Preparation

  • Remove the corn kernels from the sweet corn
  • Add the corn kernels into a mixer.
  • Grind it into a smooth paste.
  • Transfer the grounded corn paste into a bowl.
  • Add rava/semolina and besan flour into it.
  • Add sweet corn, carrot, onion, turmeric powder, redchilli powder and salt into it. Mix everything well.
  • Add water as required and mix everything well.
  • Make a dosa batter like consistency batter.
  • Soak it for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, add baking soda in it.
  • Again add water if required to make the batter thin.
  • Batter is now ready.
  • Pour 3tbs oil in each mould of paniyaram pan and heat it.
  • Pour the batter in each moulds.
  • Close it with a lid & cook until both sides turns golden brown in color.
  • Sweet Corn Paniyaram is now ready to serve.
