These are crispy and spicy vegetable patties, made with mixed vegetables, spices, herbs and breadcrumbs. Vegetable cutlets are made by frying these vegetable patties in oil, but this recipe not required any oil for frying the vegetable patties, so this vegetable cutlet recipe is a healthy one. Here in this recipe instead of frying the vegetable patties in oil, I just baked them in OTG Oven. Ingredients
Ginger-1 inch, finely chopped
Chilli-1, finely chopped
Beans-1 Cup, finely chopped
Carrot-1 Cup, grated
Beetroot-1 Cup, grated
Potato-2, Boiled & Mashed
Salt to taste
Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp
Redchilli Powder-1 tsp
Garam Masala-1/2 tsp
Pepper Powder-1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice-1/2 of a Lemon
Curry Leaves-2 tbs, finely chopped
BreadCrumbs-1 Cup
Maida/All Purpose Flour-2 tbs
Oil-2 tbs
How To Make Healthy Vegetable Cutlet in OTG Oven
- Firstly, Heat 2tbs oil in a pan.
- Add chopped ginger and green chillies in it.
- Then Sauté it until it turns golden brown in color.
- Further add finely chopped beans, grated carrot and grated beetroot in it.
- Then sauté it for 2 minutes.
- Next add boiled & mashed potato and salt to taste in it.
- Then mix it well.
- Further add turmeric powder, redchilli powder, garam masala and pepper powder in it.
- Then mix it well & saute it until raw smell of powders goes off.
- Next add lemon juice and curry leaves in it and mix it well.
- Switch off the flame and allow it to cool down completely.
- Transfer it into a bowl.
- Mash everything well with your hand.
- Next add breadcrumbs, maida/ all purpose flour in it.
- Then mix everything well with your hand.
- Cutlet mixture is ready now.
- Further grease your palm with oil.
- Then take a portion of mixture in your palm & make a round shape.
- Place a parchment paper on a baking tray.
- Then place the cutlet mixture on the parchment paper.
- Preheat oven at 200 C for 10 minutes.
- Place the baking tray in the oven.
- Bake it at 200 C for 15 minutes.
- Cutlets are ready to serve now.
