Ingredients
Bitter Gourd- 2
Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp
Red chilli Powder-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Coconut-3/4 cup
Cumin Seeds-1/2 tsp
Green Chilli-1
Beaten Curd-1 cup
Oil-6 tbs
Mustard Seeds-1/2 tsp
Fenugreek Seeds-1/2 tsp
Red Chilli-2
Small Onions-8 (chopped)

How To Make Bitter Gourd Curd Curry
- Firstly, wash bitter gourd well, then cut it lengthwise.
- Remove the seeds and chop it into small thin pieces.
- Next, marinate the bitter gourd pieces with turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt to taste.
- Mix it well and rest it for 10 minutes.
- Secondly, in a mixer add grated coconut. cumin seeds, green chilli and water as needed.
- Then grind it to a fine paste.
- Thirdly, Heat 4tbs oil in a pan then add the marinated bitter gourd pieces in it.
- Saute it until it turns light brown in color and tender.
- Next add grounded coconut paste in it and mix it well.
- Add water as needed and salt to taste in it and mix well.
- Then let it boil.
- Further, reduce the flame to low and add 1 cup beaten curd in it.
- Stir it well and cook it for a minute.
- Then switch off the flame.
- Finally, heat 2tbs coconut oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds in it. Let it splutter.
- Add fenugreek seeds, redchilli, small onions and curry leaves in it.
- Saute it until onion turns golden brown in color.
- Add this to the prepared bitter gourd curd curry and mix it.
- Bitter gourd curd curry is now ready to serve.
