Pulissery is the one of the many dishes of kerala onam sadya.It is a yogurt/curd based curry.Here i prepared Pulissery with Pineapple but you can prepare this with ash gourd,papaya,banana and mango.This curry has a sweet-sour flavour.It is very easy to prepare.You can serve this with rice.Let us come to the recipe

Ingredients
Pineapple-1 cup chopped
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Red chili powder-1/2 tsp
Yogurt/curd-1 cup
Salt as needed
For Grinding
Grated Coconut-1/2 cup
Green Chilies-2
Cumin seeds/Jeera-1/2 tsp
For seasoning
Mustard seeds-1’2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds-1/4 tsp
Red Chilies-3
Curry leaves- few
Oil-2 tbs
Method Of Preparation
- Clean and cut the pineapple into small pieces.
- Cook the Pineapple pieces along with a little water,turmeric powder,chili powder and salt until it turns to soft
- Grind grated coconut,green chilies and cumin seeds with yogurt to a fine paste
- Add this paste to the cooked pineapple pieces and allow it to boil on a low heat
- cook for 2-3 minutes.Remove from heat
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds,when it splutters add redchilies,fenugreek seeds and curry leaves
- saute for a minute and add the seasoning to the prepared pulissery
- Yummy Pineapple Pulissery is ready to serve hot with rice
