You all need to prepare something as an evening snacks for your kids and family. Then try to prepare this easy healthy snack if you have fish in your fridge. The procedure is almost same as you prepare normal cutlets but here I didn’t deep fry this cutlets so I used very little oil for shallow frying these cutlets so it is cholesterol free. Fish patties is made by mashing the boiled fish pieces along with little boiled and mashed potatoes and spices, Coated it in bread crumbs and then shallow fried until golden brown and crispy. Ingredients
Fish boneless boiled-500 gm
Potato boiled-200 gm
Onion,chopped-1 cup
Green chilies,chopped-3
Ginger garlic paste- 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Red chili powder- 1 tsp
Garam masala powder- 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander chopped- 1/2 cup
Egg Beaten with salt,-1
Bread crumbs-1 cup
Oil-3 tbs
Method Of Preparation
- Boil fish fillets in water with little salt and turmeric powder for 5 minutes.Strain out all the water and crumble. Keep it aside
- In a bowl take boiled fish pieces and potatoes and mash it well
- Heat oil in a pan and then add chopped onion, salt, green chillies, ginger garlic paste, and turmeric powder.Mix well, then add coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and chopped coriander.Mix everything well
- Now mix this mixture with fish and potato mixture well and make into small balls
- Dip it into the beaten egg and roll into bread crumbs and give a shape and shallow fry till golden brown in colour.
