Prawn Jackfruit Seeds Drumstick Curry Recipe | Chemmeen Chakkakuru Muringakka Curry Recipe with Video Recipe. Today’s recipe is for prawn lovers. Prawn is a favorite seafood for many people. Prawns can be cooked in a variety of delicious ways. Each region in India makes prawn curry in different style and with different ingredients. Today I am posting here the recipe of prawn curry in Kerala style. This prawn curry is a popular curry dish in kerala, but this prawn curry recipe will be a variety recipe for other regions. In this prawn curry I cooked prawns along with jackfruit seeds and drumstick. Flavor of jackfruit seeds and drumstick makes this curry more delicious. Ingredients

Tamarind-Lemon Size

Grated Coconut-1 1/2 cup

Jackfruit Seeds-10-12 (chopped)

Turmeric Powder-1 tsp

Ginger- 1 inch piece (chopped)

Garlic Cloves-6 (chopped)

Green chilies-2 (chopped)

Drumstick-2 (cut into 3 inch pieces)

Tomato-1

Curry Leaves

Prawns-200gm 

Redchilli Powder-1 tsp

Coriander Powder-1 tsp

Salt

Oil-1 tbs

Mustard Seeds-1/2 tsp

Small onions- 8 nos (chopped)

How To Make Prawn Jackfruit Seeds Drumstick Curry

  • Clean the prawns and keep it aside.
  • Peel off the skin of jackfruit seeds and cut into 4 pieces. keep it aside
  • Soak lemon size tamarind in warm water and keep it aside.
  • Add grated coconut in mixer. Add water as required and grind it into a fine paste. Keep it aside.
  • Take a clay pot/manchatti. 
  • Add the chopped jackfruit seeds into it.
  • Add turmeric powder and salt to taste in it.
  • Add water as required and mix it.
  • Cover it with a lid & let the jackfruit seeds cook well.
  • Once jackfruit seeds are cooked well, add ginger, garlic, green chilies, drumsticks, tomato, curry leaves, prawns, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt to taste in it.
  • Squeeze the soaked tamarind.
  • Add the strained tamarind water in it. Mix it.
  • Close it with a lid & Let the prawns cook well.
  • Once prawns are cooked well add the grounded coconut paste in it.
  • Add 1 cup water and salt to taste in it. Mix it.
  • Let it boil.
  • Heat 1 tbs oil in a pan.
  • Add mustard seeds in it.
  • Let the mustard seeds splutter.
  • Add small onions and curry leaves in it.
  • Saute it until onion turns golden brown in color.
  • Pour it over the curry.
  • Prawn Jackfruit Seeds Drumstick Curry is now ready to serve.
