One day I prepared vegetable puffs for evening tea time snack,so just thought to share the recipe here. I bought frozen puff pastry sheets from store and made vegetable stuffing inside. It came out nice.You can also try this recipe.It will be a perfect snack for your kids.Let me know your comments
Ingredients
Ready made puff pastry sheet-1
vegetables chopped -1 cup(I used potatoes,carrots and green beans)
Onion-1
Ginger garlic paste-1/2 tsp
cumin seeds-1 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Red chili powder-1/2 tsp
Coriander powder-1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
Finely chopped coriander leaves
Salt as needed
Oil-2 tsp
Method Of Preparation
- Take puff pastry sheet out of the freezer,to thaw for about 1/2 hour
- Cook the vegetables in pressure cooker
- Heat oil in a pan then add cumin seeds in it.Once it start to splutter add onion in it and saute well
- Add ginger garlic paste in it then add salt in it and fry for a minute
- Add turmeric powder,red chili powder,coriander powder and garam masala in it and mix well
- Finally add the cooked vegetables in it and mix well and cook for 2 minutes
- Preheat oven to 350 degree F
- Cut the puff pastry sheet into rectangles and keep vegetable filling in middle of the rectangle and fold and cover the filling
- Line a baking tray with aluminium foil and grease it with oil and arrange the puffs in it
- Brush the puffs with oil
- Bake it for 20 minutes,until it turns golden brown in color
- Serve hot with tomato sauce/ketch up
