Indian Style Pasta Recipe | Masala Pasta Recipe | Easy Pasta Recipe with Video Recipe. Pasta is basically an Italian food.  Many varieties of pastas are available now in market. In this recipe I am using farafalle pasta, It is a bow tie shaped Italian pasta. It can also be described as butterfly shaped pasta. Here I am sharing the recipe of an Indian based pasta. In this recipe I am adding the Indian spices to suit the Indian taste buds. Traditional Italian pasta recipes will use cheese, but in this recipe I am not using cheese. In this recipe you can use tomato sauce or  tomato puree as sauce for pasta which is always easily available at your home. This pasta recipe is very simple and very easy to make within few minutes and it will tastes delicious. It will be a healthy snack for your kids as it contains vegetables like carrot and beans etc.  Try this recipe and let me know how it turned out for you.


Pasta-1 cup
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Ginger-1 inch, finely chopped
Garlic-2 cloves, finely chopped
Green chili-1/2 tsp chopped
Onion-2 medium size, chopped
Tomato-4, medium size, chopped
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Redchilli powder-1/2 tsp
Garam masala-1/2 tsp
Vegetables-1/2 cup (chopped carrots+ chopped beans)
Water-1/2 cup
Salt to taste

Method Of Preparation

  • In a large vessel boil enough water. Add oil and salt into it. Then add pasta into it. Stir it well.Boil it till pastas are cooked well
  • Once pastas are cooked well drain the water and keep it aside
  • Heat oil in a pan. Then add cumin seeds, ginger, garlic and greenchilli into it. Saute it well
  • Add onion into it. Saute it until onion becomes translucent. Then add tomato into it. Cook till tomatoes are mushy. Add salt into it and mix well
  • Add turmeric powder, redchilli powder and garam masala into it. Saute it until raw smell of powders goes off
  • Add chopped carrots and beans into it. Saute it well. Then add water into it and mix it well. Cover it and cook for 5 minutes in medium flame
  • Once vegetables are cooked well add tomato sauce into it and mix well. Then add cooked pasta into it and mix well
  • Add pepper powder into it and mix well
  • Finally garnish it with few coriander leaves
  • Pasta is now ready to serve
