Poha Pakoda Recipe- Quick And Easy Evening Veg Snacks


We all look out for easy to make snack recipes….Today I am sharing here with you poha pakoda recipe, which is very easy to make..This easy-to-make recipe is made using easily available ingredients such as poha (Aval), which is rice flakes. Poha(Aval)-1 Cup, thin
Boiled and mashed potato-2
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Red Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Coriander powder-1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste-1/2 tsp
Curry leaves(finely chopped)-1 tbs
Salt-1/2 tsp

Method Of Preparation

  • Wash Poha with fresh water and then drain out the water from it 
  • In a bowl take washed poha and then add boiled and mashed potatoes, turmeric powder, Red Chilli powder, Coriander powder, Garam masala powder, Ginger garlic paste, Curry leaves(finely chopped)and salt
  • Mix every thing well
  • Once vada mix is ready, divide this into small portions and make small ball sized patties
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Drop patties into hot oil carefully
  • Deep fry them for 5 minutes
  • Fry them both sides evenly
  • Once they turn light brown, remove from pan
  • Poha pakoda is now ready to serve hot
