Egg Cutlet Recipe

Egg lovers!!!, Here is a snack recipe with egg.that you can try easily and very tasty also..My husband is an egg lover..He always request me to try recipes with eggs.,so I started to search in internet for a snack recipe with egg and ended up in this egg cutlet recipe. I tried this recipe one day as an evening snack. It came out successfully, me and my husband love the taste of this cutlet very much. We used to prepare vegetable cutlet,fish culet and chicken cutlet but  this egg cutlets was tastier than any other cutlets i have tried before. U can also try this recipe, I am sure that both kids and adults will love the taste of this cutlet. Today we can learn how to make egg cutlet. Ingredients

Boiled and smashed potato-2 medium size
Hard Boiled Eggs-2
Onion-1,finely chopped
Grated garlic-1 1/2 tsp
Grated ginger-1 tsp
Green chilies,chopped-2
Grated carrot-1/2 cup
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Red chili powder-1 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Garam masala powder-1 tsp
Coriander leaves,finely chopped-1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Oil-1 tbs
Beaten egg-1
Bread crumbs-1 cup
Oil for frying


Method Of Preparation

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds in it, once it starts to splutter add finely chopped onion in it. Add salt in it and fry till the onions becomes tender and transparent
  • Once the onion is cooked well add ginger,garlic and green chilies in it and mix well. Fry all the ingredients together for around 2 to 3 minutes
  • Add grated carrots in it, then add turmeric powder,red chili powder,coriander powder and garam masala powder in it and mix well and saute it well for around 3 to 4 minutes.till it becomes completely dry because if water is there in vegetables then the cutlet will break
  • Once the above mixture is cooked well and it beacame completely dry transfer it to a bowl and allow it to cool for few minutes
  • Once the above mixture is cool down add this mixture to the smashed potato and then add chopped coriander leaves in it and then mix all things together thoroughly with your hand
  • Once the potato mixture is done cut the hard boiled eggs in to halves and apply the potato mixture all over the egg pieces. Do it very gently,otherwise it can break. Cover the egg completely with potato mixture, Nicely press it very gently and give a good shape
  • Take each cutlets and dip that in the well beaten egg and then coat it well by bread crumbs
  • Heat oil in a pan and then set the temperature at medium to high and then deep fry the cutlets until it turns golden brown in color
  • Drain on paper towel and serve hot with your favorite sauce and enjoy !
