Tawa Paneer Ingredients

Paneer-2 Cups (Cut into Cubes)

Onion-1 (Finely Chopped)

Ginger Garlic Paste-1 tsp

Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp

Coriander Powder-1 tsp

Red chilli Powder-1 tsp

Cumin Powder-1/2 tsp

Curd-1 tbs

Tomatoes-2 (Finely Chopped)

Capsicum-1 (Chopped)

Hot Water-1/2 Cup

Salt-1/2 tsp

Garam Masala-1/2 tsp

Kasuri Methi-2 tbs (Crushed)

Coriander Leaves-2 tbs (Chopped)

How To Make Tawa Paneer

  • Firstly, in a bowl take curd, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder, kasuri methi, salt and oil. 
  • Mix well and make sure everything is well combined.
  • Add paneer cubes in it and mix gently. 
  • Let the paneer cubes coat well with the marinade. Marinate it for 30 minutes. 
  • Heat 1 tbs oil on a tawa and splutter cumin seeds.
  • Also add onion, ginger garlic paste and salt in it and saute it until onion turns golden brown in color.
  • Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, redchilli powder and cumin powder. Saute it on low flame until the spice powders turns aromatic.
  • Now add tomato and capsicum. Saute it until tomato and capsicum are cooked well.
  • Further add the marinated paneer cubes and mix it well.
  • Then add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 cup hot water and mix it.
  • Close it with a lid and cook it for 5 minutes on low flame.
  • Finally add garam masala, kasuri methi and coriander leaves and mix it.
  • Tawa Paneer is now ready to serve.
