Everyday Pasta is popular due to its versatility and convenience for your everyday meal. Try our everyday pasta recipes. Dried, fresh and frozen are the various forms that the everyday pasta is available in. Capellini:       The thinnest long spaghetti.
Conchigle:    Small to medium shapes with or with out grooves.
Egg Noodles:    Flat or curly, short pasta strips made with eggs or egg yolks.
Farfalle:         
Shaped like bow-ties.
Fettuccine:    ¼ inch wide long, flat noodles.
Lasagna:      
Approximately a 2 inch wide flat noodle with either ruffled or straight edge.
Linguine:     
 Long, flat, thin noodle usually 1/8 inch wide.
Macaroni:    
Short, curved, tubular-shaped everyday pasta.
Manicotti:     Hollow pasta tubes that are usually stuffed and baked.
Penne:         
Narrow, short, diagonal-cut pasta about 1¼ inches long, smooth or grooves.
Ravioli:         Pillow shaped pasta stuffed with cheese or spinach.
Rice Noodles: Translucent, thin strands made from water and rice flour.
Rigatoni:      Short-cut, (1 inch long) wide tubular pasta with grooves.
Spaghetti:    A popular everyday pasta. Long, thin solid strands.
Tortellini:      Filled, slightly irregular shaped little rings.



You can refrigerate everyday pasta in a tightly sealed container up to 5 days.
You can freeze everyday pasta in a tightly sealed container up to 2 months.
 
Everyday Pasta Recipes

Everyday Pasta Salad


Ingredients:
1 – 16 ounce package of macaroni pasta, cooked, rinsed and drained.
1 medium sweet red pepper, cut into strips.
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup broccoli flowerets

Mix all the ingredients and toss well. Chill and serve with Caesar salad dressing.



Italian Beef Everyday Spaghetti Pasta

Ingredients:
½ lb. cubed stewing beef 1 cup spaghetti sauce 2 tbsp. red wine
¼ cup green pepper diced 1 tsp. onion soup mix ¼ cup water
8 oz. spaghetti ¼ cup Parmesan cheese

Put the beef, spaghetti sauce, wine, water, green pepper and soup mix into a casserole dish
 Cookware.   Cover and cook on Medium for 30 minutes… stirring occasionally. Cook the spaghetti as per package directions, and when the sauce is cooked, splash it over the spaghetti and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over it.
